lightness of being(s) focuses on a specific physical space, the Blue Mountain Birch Cove Lakes Wilderness Area, and my experiential gathering there. Through methods of partaking in a peripatetic practice of learning by gathering sensory knowledge, I create artistic outputs that strive to feel careful; that express the poetic; that aim to sit in liminal spaces of beauty, sensuality, and eroticism that I find in such wilderness spaces. I think deeply about the materiality and form that I use to express these findings.
